offer consumers many tools and services to manage their
debt and credit repair. They also have identity theft
protection and fraud protection services, and serve
millions of consumers each year. |
|
| Our Review:
Credit Diagnosis is by far one of our favorite sites for
DIY credit repair and monitoring. They have so many
great tools and the website is really easy to use,
making it a great choice for anyone who needs to keep
tabs on their credit. The other services that they offer
are a bonus, and the customer service is exactly what
you’d expect from a company like this. |
|
| User Review:
Credit Diagnosis was referred to me by a friend. At
first I thought it was going to be free, but then I
realized that there were fees involved. However, with
all of the tools and resources I was given, paying for
the service was definitely worth it. I was able to keep
track of my debt and get it paid off without having to
seek outside help for credit repair. |

|
| Services Offered:
Credit repair and reporting tools |
|
| Company Overview:
CreditReporting.com is owned and operated by Evergreen
Credit Reporting, Inc. Evergreen is a member of
Associated Credit Bureaus, Inc. They offer various
credit repair and reporting products and services to
consumers, including their common 3-in-1 credit report
and personalized reports and service. |
|
| Our Review:
CreditReporting.com offers a basic, yet necessary
service. With so many companies out there offering
credit monitoring and credit repair support, it’s hard
to find the ones that are best. However, this is one of
them. Their customer service is top rate, and their
programs and products are very helpful. |
|
| User Review: I
used Creditreporting.com to help myself get some bills
paid off. I knew I had outstanding debt, but I had
stopped receiving paper bills. That’s what led me to
Creditreporting.com, where I can keep track of the ones
that I’ve paid and monitor my credit repair success as I
go. |

lenders. The company began in the 1960’s, with myFICO
being established in the early 2000’s. They work with
the three major credit bureaus to offer credit
information to consumers. |
|
| Our Review:
myFICO is a great way to keep track of your credit
information. They’ve got a lot of information and help
for credit repair, too, which is great. The website is
really well designed and easy to use. If you need a
place to keep track of your credit during credit repair,
this is the place to do it. |
|
| User Review:
myFICO let me check on my credit as much as I wanted,
and gave me a lot of help and resources to learn about
getting my debt paid off and using my credit more
responsibly. I always thought that I knew what I was
doing, until I was so deep in debt that I couldn’t get
out. Thanks to my FICO, now I really do know what I’m
doing! |

|
| Services Offered:
Credit repair programs |
|
| Company Overview:
In 2005, Clint Holland founded Debt Free in Three. The
program offers customized solutions to help people with
credit repair in a much quicker fashion than many can
find otherwise. They have helped thousands of customers
since they began, and all services come with a 100%
satisfaction guarantee. |
|
| Our Review:
Debt Free in Three is a very well designed alternative
to traditional debt settlement companies. Rather than
paying some company a huge fee to take care of your
debts for you, you can learn how to take care of them
yourself, and much quicker in most cases. The website is
very easy to use, and the customer service that you get
is top notch. |
|
| User Review:
Debt Free in Three helped me to pay off more than
$200,000 in credit card debt and student loans in just
under three years. I really didn’t think with my loss of
income that it was possible, but I learned exactly how
to do it, and which tools worked best with the
creditors. It was a great service, and I am forever
grateful! |

Do-It-Yourself Credit Repair Guide: |
|
When it comes
to credit repair, there are many things that you need to
keep in mind. You should always make sure that you take
the time to consider all of your options and choose what
is best for you, not what is easiest, fastest, or
cheapest. If you do this, you might wind up getting bad
services or not getting the help that you need because
you didn’t focus on what you needed. Doing your own
credit repair is a possibility in many cases, and you
can use sites like the ones listed above to figure out
who you owe, how much you owe, and then set up a payment
plan to take care of the debts. The best way to approach
your own credit repair is to pay off the credit card or
debt that has the highest interest rate first, and
maintain paying the minimum balance on the rest of them.
For example, if you have a credit card with 18% interest
and two that have 14% interest rates, you should pay off
the higher one first, while maintaining minimum payments
on the other two. However, if you have a home loan or
auto loan that has a higher interest rate, the same rule
does not apply. You should always pay off unsecured debt
(credit cards, student loans, etc.) before you pay off
secured debt (home and auto loans). This is because
unsecured debt makes your credit look worse than secured
debt. If you have gotten in over your head with debt,
you need to take a proactive role in your financial life
and do what you can to fix the situation. If a loss of
income has caused you to be unable to pay off these
debts, there isn’t a whole lot that you can do.
Sometimes you will need to ask for help when it comes to
credit repair, because you’re just in too deep. There
are plenty of companies that can help you out, but you
should always check out alternative solutions like the
ones listed above before you sell your soul to a debt
settlement or credit consolidation company for your
credit repair needs.
